Look no further – The Hume Building Society Butter Factory Theatre Wodonga is the perfect venue for your next event.

From live theatre, conferences, seminars, private fuctions and celebrations to community meetings, festivals and even weddings – The Butter Factory can cater for anything. Our staff are dedicated to producing stylish and memorable events.

The history and location of our venue are just two factors adding to its unique character. Built in 1928, the building was originally part of an operating dairy and located on Gateway Island, the complex backs onto landscaped gardens and natural bush on the banks of the Murray River.

We have two main rooms available for hire:

• the fully equipped Theatre seats 167 people and provides a warm intimate atmosphere popular with performers and audiences. 
• the Studio is the building’s ‘blank canvas’. It can be transformed from a rehearsal or meeting room to a tailored function, launch or performance space.

Both spaces are linked by our foyer and bar, the perfect setting for meeting and entertaining guests and clients.

Our staff will ensure your event is something out of the ordinary with the highest quality equipment, catering and service. We look forward to being able to create an event designed especially for you.
