Season 2004

Mouse

April 29 - May 9
"Mouse" is a nasty comedy about the effects Mouse has on his fellow classmates and the events leading to a violent explosion of revenge. It is a playground allegory of current world events and the relationships of first and third world politics and people.

Ruby Moon

June 22 - 26
In Flaming Tree Grove, life appears to be picture perfect until the day when little Ruby sets off to visit her grandma at the end of the cul-de-sac. She is never seen again..

Second Childhood

July 21
A rare gem ~ a show that genuinely appeals to people of all ages. This is a perfect opportunity for the whole family to enjoy the magic of theatre with this delightful story from Morris Gleitzman, one of Australia's most popular authors for young people.

Eating Icecream With Your Eyes Closed

September 1-11
This wonderful new Australian play follows the journey three men take through a harsh landscape of prejudice, isolation and cultural stereotypes.

Last Cab To Darwin

November 10-14
Max, a taxi driver from Broken Hill embarks on the first and last great journey of his life ~ straight up the guts of this wide brown alien landscape..

2004 Comedy Festival

December 1-12
After a brilliant success in 2003, the Comedy Festival is back! Offering forty performances of five hysterical shows over a fortnight of hilarity, lunacy and foolishness.
