Expression of Interest – HotHouse Drama School

HotHouse Theatre is seeking an experienced and qualified tutor to co-ordinate and implement the HotHouse Drama School program from 2008. Our mission is to deliver a comprehensive drama program that will nurture and develop theatre skills & practice among its students. Current classes range from Beginners (5 - 7 years), to Juniors (8 - 14 years) to Seniors (15 – 18 years) and Adults (19 & up). Initially a part-time position, HotHouse is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about arts-in-education, has the confidence to work independently and be looking for new creative challenges which will develop the education arm of the Company.
The HotHouse Drama School started in 2006 with just over 50 students and in 2007 has nearly 100 students enrolled with a waiting list. Attached is detail about the current program and the potential to grow the position.
