EDUPAK – HotHouse Launches 2006 School’s Initiative

HotHouse Theatre recently announced an innovative educational initiative for schools in the local and surrounding regions. Called EDUPAK – A Workshop Program and Tickets For Schools the offer was mailed to schools this week. Designed for both Victorian and NSW secondary schools the EDUPAK offers performance related workshops (Monologues, Solo Performance, and Design Brief), as well as information regarding special offers for shows to the 2006 HotHouse Season.
In the pack school students in groups have been offered discounted tickets to HotHouse performances, as well as advance information on block bookings for the 2006 Biting Dog Theatre Festival. In addition some NSW schools and school groups qualify for an access subsidy from the Arts NSW which will subsidise travel and ticket costs to ensure access to professional theatre by selected NSW secondary students and schools.
Information about HotHouse Theatre’s Education program in 2006 and information about how schools can access funding to students to take advantage of that program is attached below in pdf form. Bookings need to be made by schools using the appropriate form.
