EP Launch – Flowers for your worst days

Friday 28 June 2019 8 PM

Georgie Currie is a Melbourne based singer-songwriter from Albury, NSW. Over the past five years, Georgie’s powerful voice has become known to festival audiences across Australia as a lead singer of the ten-piece folk/rock band ‘The Northern Folk’.

Georgie’s solo project is an entirely different beast. Her songs blend the broken, intimate fears of youth with a vocal intensity beyond her years. Lyrically and harmonically mature, she paints portraits remarkable as much for their emotional power as their vulnerability.

2019 will see Georgie performing a number of shows to celebrate the launch of her debut EP ‘Flowers For Your Worst Days’. One of these shows will see Georgie returning home to Albury/Wodonga, joined by special guests, to play at The Hume Bank Butter Factory Theatre
